Licensed since the 1850′s, this much-loved watering hole has been sympathetically refurbished, reopening as a Free House and Restaurant where the rustically simple décor, relaxed environment and choice selection of real ales and fine wines, provide the perfect sojourn for locals and visitors alike.
Our three comfortable and stylish ensuite bedrooms offer a comfortable welcome to guests who wish to stay overnight or for a few days. The rooms are all doubles, one of which has space for a child’s cot or extra single bed if required.
The Old Rectory Bed & Breakfast is a beautifully-proportioned Georgian country house set in extensive wooded grounds located in the historic village of Ewyas Harold in Herefordshire's Golden Valley.
The house is furnished throughout with family heirlooms, antiques, ancestral portraits and sporting memorabilia, creating an atmosphere of comfortable and inviting elegence.
The spacious dining room has an open fire in the winter and open french windows in summer - as does the lovely drawing room, which also has a grand piano for the pleasure of musical guests. The secluded three-acre garden is fringed with mature trees and includes a lovingly-maintaned croquet lawn, which guests are invited to enjoy.
With breathtaking views and situated on a quiet lane next to the main farmhouse, Pomona Cottage (sleeps Four) and The Cider House (sleeps Two) are both modern and comfortable. They are newly restored from our 18th century barns. With a mix of old oak beams and ultra modern bathrooms, old stone feature walls and underfloor heating, the accommodation is extremely spacious and stylish.
The ten acres of Old King Street Farm has woodland, a lakeside barbecue / picnic area, a stream, and our herd of fourteen llamas quietly grazing nearby. Guests may wish to take a llama trek and explore the Black Mountains during their stay.

The Sett is a studio flat on a Grade II listed farm in peaceful countryside.

Up On A Hill is a picturesque glamping site which situates two 5 metre lotus belle tents that can sleep up to 6 people. They enjoy fantastic views of the Golden Valley & the Black Mountains.
